Chapter 01 — Seoul, South Korea
The trip that changed everything.
Hey! I'm Emma & everything started on a street in Seoul. I was wandering through Myeongdong — overwhelmed in the best possible way — when I stumbled across a tiny beauty counter tucked between a convenience store and a dumpling stall. The woman behind the counter handed me a small white stick. She said nothing. She just smiled.
I swiped it across my hand and watched it disappear into my skin. Not beige. Not orange. My colour. Exactly. In seconds.
I'd spent years fighting with foundations that oxidised, pulled too warm, or sat on top of my skin like a mask. And here, in the middle of Seoul, a tiny stick had just solved every single one of those problems.
On the flight home, I knew this technology had to reach the world.
— The moment Bonzai was born.
Chapter 02 — London, UK
Back home. Time to build.
The moment I landed in London, I knew exactly what I needed to do. I wasn't going to launch another beauty brand. I was going to launch the right one — built on science, backed by real expertise, and designed for women who were tired of compromising.
I spent months reaching out to the best people I could find. Not influencers. Not marketers. Scientists. Dermatologists. Artists who understood skin the way a musician understands sound.

Chapter 03 — London Launch
A community comes together.
Before we sold a single unit, we threw a party. We gathered women from across London — different ages, different skin tones, different stories — and we asked them to try Bonzai for the very first time, together.
The room was loud. There was laughter. There were mirrors. There were women holding up their wrists side by side, watching the same white stick disappear into completely different skin tones. And working on every single one.
We're just getting started. Bonzai will soon be available in major cosmetics retailers across the UK and beyond — so that every woman, wherever she is, can find her shade without looking for it.
— The adventure has only just begun. 🌿
